Big Bug at the Finish?

Maybe it’s me, but on my first game I got toward the end and needed a certain wonder for an “Emancipation” victory, which is supposed to be a unique victory plan for the Affinity I was in, “Sovereignty.” When I wanted to build the wonder, it said I didn’t have enough “Purity” points which is a different Affinity. ??? Like one of the other reviewers, I put a lot of time into this first game just to learn it only to find this weird situation at the end.

Otherwise, the game is okay. It’s like all the others with a different context. I am sure the creators wanted it to be complex and challenging, but in my opinion it is a bit too complex.
